About Me
Wale Adeagbo graduated with a second class upper degree from the Faculty of Law, Obafemi Awolowo University in 2019. In 2020, he proceeded to the Nigerian Law School for his one year compulsory professional training. Due to COVID-19 and its delays, Wale Adeagbo completed his professional training in 2021 and excelled as a 7.5 percentile having graduated with a second class upper. Wale got called to the Nigerian Bar in July, 2021 and has started his career with Cosmic Chambers, Minna as an NYSC Associate with a focus on civil and criminal litigation.
Having completed his compulsory youth service, Wale Adeagbo gained employment with OMAPLEX LAW FIRM as Dispute Resolution Associate. He handled series of high profile cases, especially matters on behalf of the Central Bank of Nigeria. He handled a handful of appellate matters as well out of which the case of COP v. SAMSUDEEN (reported by Law Pavilion) stood out. With this confidence, he was granted fiat to handle Criminal matters in the FCT as a Prosecutor.
As a versatile Associate, he was included as part of the team that handled Pre-election matters on behalf of one of the top political parties in Nigeria. Early 2023, Wale Adeagbo joined the Firm of Ogunsanya & Ogunsanya as a Senior Associate (Litigation) wherein apart from the role of representing MULTICHOICE NIGERIA in several cases, he also undertook some supervisory roles that involved him to lead a Team of Dispute Resolution Associates.
In May 2024, Wale Adeagbo took the bold step and resigned from Ogunsanya & Ogunsanya to officially launch his own Law Firm_ WALE ADEAGBO LEGAL. At WALE ADEAGBO LEGAL, Wale has a mixed practice focusing on Civil Litigation and corporate advisory. He recently represented a client against one of the top Microfinance Banks on the issue of customer-banker relation and the application of the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act on same thereof.
